Why did 20Th Century saw a high rise in divorce,violence,wars,new discoveries than ever in history of man?

Not a single cause but, among others: Divorce: new women freedom and higher self-esteem. In the past, they must be obey to the husband and they expected too little from marriage. We expect too much now? Violence: I am not sure that at individual level there is more violence. People used to use firearms and knives to go to work in the XIX century. Think about the Far West in USA, Samurais in Japan, headhunters in Africa and Indonesia, etc. Before, well, it was worse. Wars: because the development of transport: it is easier to be in war with more distant countries. New discoveries: prosperity, communications, competition, capitalism.

Look at the corrupt dismantle of our words that people speak it's almost no one believes anyone anymore, greed, and power play a huge role in it. We as a human nature forget were just mere animals as well. the old saying goes Monkey see, monkey do.. well the more we see others have the more we want and do. I think too that were creatures of a discovering kind to explore our minds than what our for-fathers have in mind.

WITH COMPUTERS THERE ARE KINDS OF DISCOVERY'S BEING MADE NOW. ALSO A DIFFERENT KIND OF WAR BEING PLAYED, I THINK MORE VIOLENCE BECAUSE OF MOVIES AND TV. AND DIVORCE, BECAUSE IT TOOK ME THIS LONG TO DO IT.

Through technology and the media we are more and more connected to the entire world...for better or worse.
