Pokemon SoulSilver: Training Luxray Help?

• Ok I want to ev train my shiny shinx so I can use it WiFi battles when black and white come out on Sunday and I'm not sure which stats to train it in. Shinx has a timid nature which increase speed and decrease attack but the thing is I was gonna put 252 in speed, 252 in attack and the rest in HP. But can someone help me please. I want to do this today cause 2morrow is my birthday and I jus want to relax so can someone reply ASAP. Thanks

  Ah...you're the guy who asked this question before. Alright: By my analysis, it seems that your Luxray is going to be Physically Challenged (by that I mean lowered attack). I will suggest one thing: turn it to a wall breaker. It's offensive stats aren't that bad on both sides (meaning on Physically and Specially), so I suggest a mixed set: Luxray@ Life Orb -Thunderbolt -Superpower -Crunch -Thunder Wave/Toxic 204 Atk/156 SpA/148 Spe I got this set from Smogon; however, the nature preference is a bit different, and you might want to play around with your EVs a bit as well. The problem with this is that your attack might not be able to reach the 300 mark, due to hindering nature; That's why Thunderbolt is more reliable than Thunder fang. Thunder Wave is there to spread around Paralysis for some sweeping capabilities, while Toxic goes for Sturdy walls. If you have access to Hidden Power Grass/Ice/Water,then use one. Signal Beam is another option for the special side. However, the coverage only hits dark and Psychic types, which can easily be handled with either Crunch or Superpower. You can also go for a full Walling set consisting of Protect, Toxic, Thunderbolt, and Crunch/Substitute, with 252 HP, 4 Def, and 252 SpDef. Some Pokemon will get around this though. You can also go with a 252 Sp Atk/252 Spe/4 HP for a special set; however, Luxray's special move set only contains Thunderbolt, Thunder, Signal Beam, Hidden Power, Charge Beam, Discharge, and Hyper Beam, the last one being forgettable due to recharge. overall, I would suggest either one of the three, with the last one hoping you can make something out of it.
