How do I block numbers from calling my home phone?

Does Anybody have any idea how to block my home phone from people calling with blocked numbers?

    you can call your phone company and they can set up your line to not accept blocked numbers. when people with blocked numbers call your line they'll get a recording stating that you don't accept blocked numbers and how to temporarily disable the blocking of their number, which i believe is *89 or *68, depends on where you are.
