Answer:
There are several...benadryl cheap, melatonin as being said before. Deep breathing. The above have no severe side effects.. Are you drinking coffee or sodas? Cut it out. Drink plenty of water. If you are above 35 you might be low in progesterone see source. Do you watch TV at night? Cut it out...to much negativity and action. Raises your adrenaline levels...Do EFT see source. Is something bothering you...Write and see if your conscience is of? Correct it... If you can not seep do something fun and the next night you will be so tired that you will sleep better. See if you have a negative attitude about “I can not sleep”…It is called self for filling prophecies....Exercise...take a walk enjoy your life. Visualize yourself sleeping and do deep slow breath and count to 20. You can do it. Good luck.

I would definately have to suggest trying some other non-drug methods in order to get to sleep. Firstly when I have trouble sleeping, my doctor suggests doing an activity that you enjoy before going to sleep. Whether it be reading a book, surfing the internet, listening to music, doing an activity you enjoy, WILL calm you down, and make sleep come easier. Secondly I suggest drinking warm milk/warm hot chocolate before bed. Warm milk is a natural way to relax, and chocolate in small quantities acts as a chemical relaxant. However if you can't get to sleep, I would suggest trying Nyquil Liqui-Gels if it's because of aches or a cough, if you just can't sleep however, Tylenol P.M. works very well. I personally take Sonata (Zaleplon) which is a Schedule IV Controlled Substance which requires a doctor's prescription and is used for short term insomnia. I hope this helps, may your dreams come soon!

tylenol pm.

Depending on your brain chemistry, a supplement called 5-HTP works great for me. It makes me very drowsy and I don't have to worry about dangerous drugs and side-effects like dependency.

Either chammomile tea or valerian, and a warm bath or shower right before bed. works great and all natural. valerian can be found in the vitamin section of your supermarket, usually. A good tea to try is Sleepytime Tea, made by Celestial Seasonings.

Melatonin. It is a hormone our body already produces naturally and it can be found around the vitamin section.
