Why do we need to study IT?

I cannot study? Why? I need to do well!?

  • I am not getting into the exam mode when everyone is busy preparing. I cannot study at home as I am easily distracted. I work well in other places but my parents think I am using this excuse to go out and play. What do I do! I need to do well!

    Yeah I'm the exact same as you, before i had exams in May I just couldn't concentrate. Don't play music or anything. Get a revision book with everything you need to revise and highlight what you need to know. After you have done this copy out what you need to know (try using different coloured pens/styles of writing to make this more interesting). After you have done this try and turn the sentences into your own words, if you can do this well then you understand the subject well. Also try memorizing things by doing some sort of movement, like drumming your fingers represents some sort of maths equation, this wa you aren't fidgeting and bored bout moving around in a constructive way, make sure that these actions are small ones that you can do in the exam and also make sure it doesn't make it look like your cheating!

Try to study in your bedroom. Shut the door. And tell your parents that you need some quietness so that you can concentrate on your study. Good luck! =)

I recommend closing all the doors, making a quiet environment and just getting out the books. Also try finding a way of writing notes that works for you, the best method to study is writing it down so it sticks in your brain, just reading won't help if you need to cram.

maybe u can get them to take u to the library. u should get much more done there, i do.

Just tell them you really need to go to the library or something because yo ucannot study well at home !

tell them you are going to the library and if they dont believe you say youll bring ur cell (if u have one) and they can call anytime to make sure you are still there. or if they realy dont trust you make them stay outside the library for the duration of ur studying....thatll teach em

I had the same problem and I got this advice. Study at the same place, daily. You won't get distracted. Also, no computers or mobiles or Ipods allowed while studying.:p Its extremely distracting:P

tell everyone to be quiet and if theyre not tell ur parents if they want u to pass then maybe they should listen to you and trust that ur doin what u say ur doin
