How to put something listed on eBay on sale/clearance?

I am currently a mildly successful eBay seller, but the problem I have is that I do not know how to temporarily put an item on sale/clearance after it has already been listed. If I want to temporarily change the price I manually edit the listing price and then change it again later. I've seen other listings that have items that are temporarily on 'Sale' , with the new sale price in red and the amount of time left for the sale. How can I put an item currently listed on 'Sale' like this? Thanks in advance!
Answer:

You have to have a ebay store to be able to do what you suggest. If you do click on the 'red' store logo, then go down the bottom of the next page and click on 'manage my store' then click on 'promotion manager' to create your sale The item has to be listed for at least a week before you can discount it
