Does the yahoo weather widget update/refresh automatically?

  • My laptop stays connected to the internet all the time.. so I was wondering if i keep the weather widget on my desktop would it refresh current conditions automatically?? Also, what are some other useful widgets? Could be related to anything. Thanks.

    Yes, it should update your current conditions as long as it's connected to the internet, though I'm not sure how often that it updates specifically. As for other useful widgets, I suppose it depends on what you find useful. Personally, I use the aforementioned weather widget, this calendar widget http://widgets.yahoo.com/widgets/month-calendar , the Nixie clock ('cause I like how it looks), MyCokeRewards widget to conveniently enter all my codes from all the Coke Zero I drink and the NFL & Florida Gators Football Schedule Widgets.
