How do I delete a toolbar link?

Can't remove a button from my Yahoo Toolbar?

• I updated the toolbar today..and had already created a shortcut button (custom) for "MOVIES"...then when I updated the toolbar, I added the shortcut icon that was there to choose from. I can't delete the 1st one. Please help. I click on it and it just goes to the movies link. I tried 'settings" in my toolbar and the button can't be removed since I custom created it where Yahoo lets you pick a cute icon then give it a name. They DON'T tell you how to remove it.   I upgraded my toolbar yesterday and encountered a similar problem. I added some additional buttons (including custom buttons) and opened and closed Internet Explorer several times and got rid of the errant button. I think others will run into the same problem. You could report the problem to Yahoo! Customer Care: http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/toolbar/general.html? **************************************… Added: There is a non supported way to get rid of all custom buttons. You have to delete a Yahoo folder called Buttons: Documents and Settings\yourlogonid\Application Data\Yahoo!\Companion\Buttons. Use Windows Explorer to delete buttons subfolder. Suggest you take a System Restore first. Do at your own risk!
