How do you delete the searches on web search?

How do I delete the searches on yahoo "search the web" drop down box???????????

  • It's not the tool bar search, it's the "search the web" I have tried everything but I'm not that good with computers. HELP ME PLEASE

  • Answer:

    In Internet Explorer, click on Tools, then Internet Options, then the Content tab. Towards the bottom you should see a button for Auto Complete, click that. Another box opens up, click the Clear Forms button and that should take care of it.

I found you had to unload the thing you got from the web and reload it specifying that you don't want the yahoo toolbar.

Try right clicking on the item.

see the pen right next to the search box. click on the arrow. go down to clear search history click on that. that should do it

Go to your "Tools" Select "Internet Options" Select "Clear HIstory" ok and exit the window.
