Any tips for studying abroad?

I'm a freshman in high school, and have a deep interest for studying abroad for a semester in college. (Preferably Amsterdam or Italy). I enjoy being ahead of the game, so do you guys have any tips for me that will boost my chances for fulfilling my dream? :) I'm considering taking courses for business. Are there any classes/activities I should take? Please guys, I will take any serious advice into consideration! :)

Wow! You sure ARE planning ahead! take courses in the languages involved? Study the places? Do Social Service projects. Do something you love...it looks good on your transcripts, but it's also important to enjoy what you're doing. Do well in your classes. They want you to at least have a B average, for most programs. Strange combination...I'm dying of curiosity!
