Where is better to study in Spain?

Where in Spain should I go to study abroad this summer?

  • I have a few program choices (4 to be exact: AIFS, SPI, SummerAbroad, Explorica Summer Academy) although they all take place in different parts of Spain and I can't decide where I want to go. I wanted to go to Barcelona & San Sebastion the most. However, I heard San Sebastion more quiet and suburban? I want to go to a city-ish place, with exciting nightlife..clubs bars and such. I am a party girl. So Barcelona, right? The only drawback is its not by the beach, like San Sebastion. My other options of places to stay in Spain are: Granada (with the AIFS program), Salamanca (AIFS) which i heard is pretty fun since it is a big college area, Marbella (Explorica Summer Academy), Santander (SPI), & Cadiz (SPI). Oh, and what is the drinking age/smoking age/clubbing age/going to a bar in Spain? Is it 18? Because a bunch of my friends went to barca, spain over the summer, and they all went clubbing + got wasted pretty much every night, and they're 17?
