Form 16 not given by employer?

What are option if employer does not pay last month dues and provide form 16 India specific .?

• I was working in oversease and worked more than six month . employer doesnot made me permanent staff . I requested verbaly and suggested can work for another month before i finally leave company .They told me i can leave next day . I came back to india . almost one month passed and as per verbal promise my salery till i worked not given . I made several call and droped a mail . its always we are busy or i will see sort of response . I am not getting response to my mail message for getting last month dues and form 16 for tax return (indian perspective) . I can up load my contract with them .Looking for option availaible to me .Please advise as i am will be the third person whose dues are stopped after resignation from company . I am willing to pursue this on ethical grounds and willing to pay expert in this type matter .

• Answer:

  First it is better to write an application to reporting boss requesting your demand with a copy to his reporting boss. In case he do not respond then write to senior boss directly narrating your matter. I hope your problem will solve. Local labour office may also be contact for lodging complaint but better to do as above.
