Can anyone tell me why my mic isnt working in ym? (mac)?

Ok, so yesterday, while I was supposedly having a voice convo in ym, I noticed my built-in mic didnt work. But when I tried configuring it in the system preferences, it responded....how come it's not working for my ym? Can anyone help me figure this out and how to fix it?

With the small amount of information you offered, I can only ask the obvious question, is the Messenger a version for Mac? If not, you have your solution. If it is, you may want to edit your question and offer a little more information. OS, Browser, YM Version, etc.
