Is yahoo free to users?

How come Yahoo Music is scamming on it's free users?

  • I just logged into my account vb_away after a month or so of not even using the account, started yahoo music and it said to me that I had reached my monthly limit on yahoo music. This is bull because I have not even used the account in about a month or maybe more. How could I have reached my monthly limit if I have not even logged in? Please explain this to me.

  • Answer:

C'mon, if you use it that much, just buy the Launchcast Plus subscription. It's pretty cheap for what you get if you listen to it as much as I do.

I used to be a frequent user of Yahoo! Music, but when I started to receive the same messages after only a day or two of services, I, like you, realized something was up. I've never figured out how much the monthly music limit is myself, since I don't know if an actual number exists, but if you tend to skip a lot of songs, the station counts those as actual songs played. So, if you listen nonstop for the whole day and skip a bit of songs, along with listening to a lot (along with commercials. I truly hate those commercials) you reach your monthly limit very fast, especially at the end of the month
