How to fix yahoo messanger?

How can I fix my yahoo messanger , so I can automatically link to yahoo web site?

• for example I press button on top of my messenger to automatically link to me yahoo web site.Always pop up with internet explorer but now it doesn't work .I reinstall my messenger but it doesn`t work either

  oops! so you had uninstalled it because you did reinstall that messenger. now, when you uninstall the messenger, did you uninstall also the Java? if not, then uninstall again the messenger and uninstall also the Java. get rid of all the components about yahoo in your PC. then restart your computer before reinstalling the messenger again. then after reinstalling the messenger, check the box "Open web links in a new browser window" and click also "Automatically sign me in when i click a yahoo link in messenger" and click OK. log out and close the messenger. wait for a couple of minutes and log in again in order to activate the changes you made. you may restart your PC again, it doesn't cost penny to restart thoug. *uninstalling the Java is very important if you will uninstall the messenger also. the reason for that, if you will only uninstall the messenger and you left the Java or other components of yahoo, then the problem will still exist. so if you will try to change that way, i guess you will be able to link now over the messenger unless there are some problems regarding your computer itself to as not automatically link any websites. you may check then your computer settings also.
