How come some of my contacts show they aren't on line on my phone but on the computer they are?

when I get on yahoo messenger some of my contacts show they are not on line but when I get on the computer they are on line so i have to rename my contact then they appear on line on my phone

This may be because they cannot be signed into two Yahoo Messengers at the same time. That is, they cannot be signed into Yahoo Messenger on their PC and signed into Yahoo Messenger on their phone at the same time.

a possibility of problem server. if they are online when viewing on the PC messenger, then they should appear online also when you access your account via the mobile.
