Why can't I open my Portfolios?

I cant open my firfox nor unstall it why? says still runnimg but cant open!!!?

  • i have no internet security in my pc so i install it using firefox from internet, after i install internet security i tried to open my Firefox but i couldnot open and i tried to unstall it and again download it but it says its still running close it ...why? plz help me

    and have just upgraded to 3.5 version for the PC. If you can see it in your finder or on your machine, do a force quit, control alt delete or escape if you are on a mac,or if that does not work, shut the machine down. You also most likely have explorer or another browser on your machine, so use that to go online to mozilla to get the newest version. good luck!

It sounds like there's a firefox process running, but it just doesn't have a window associated with it, so you can't see it. You need to find that process, and end it. Press ctrl-alt-delete, and in the window that pops up, choose task manager. That should bring up the task manager, with several tabs across the top. Choose the "Processes" tab, then click on the header of the "Image Name" column to sort by name, and scan through the list for any firefox processes. If you see one, click on it to highlight it, then click the "End task" button at the bottom. Repeat this step for all firefox processes. This should kill the process, and allow you to run firefox or uninstall it.
