Why can't I get into my yahoo messanger? And how do I fix it ?

I've used my yahoo messenger before quiet a few times but all of a sudden it won't let me in some security thing or something. Can some one help me figure it out?

do you have firewall? if yes, unblock messenger. if your Service Pack is already SP3, uninstall the messenger. check ID/PW if it's not wrong and or, if it's still active or not anymore.
