How do u update a TomTom sat nav system please?

Hi, my dad has a TomTom sat nav system and is at present trying tp update it. Could somebody please email me instructions on how to do this to [email protected] ... it wud be much appreciated....thanx

You need to do it through the Tom Tom Home software that either came with the unit or downloadable from the Tom Tom website.
