Where can we get Pioneer magazines?

My pioneer speakers get really distorted after running bass and music for a little bit?

  • I have four pioneer door speakers and two pioneer 12"s in my truck and a pioneer head unit and im running a pioneer pioneer class d mono gm-d8500m 1200watt amp for the subs. my issue is they sound great for a little while but then after playing music and such for a bit my quality of my door speakers goes out the window(unless I turn it too low volume) so It can be loud sometimes and work good, but then sound really distorted and crappy at other times, my guess is that the amp may be too small and is going into some kind of safe mode stopping it from burning up maybe? I don't know , but i need help.

  • Answer:

It sounds like the trouble is in the head unit--the amplifier is just connected to the subs, so it wouldn't affect the front and rear speakers. The deck's internal amplifier may be failing. However, this could also be caused by a speaker wiring problem, or a problem with the deck's power wiring.
