Why is my Sirius Radio so quiet?

Just bought a 2007 Nissan Altima 2.5 SL, and it has an "AUX IN" port. How do I use my sirius radio with it?

  • Sirius Radio: Starmate Replay ST2 The problem is I connect my sirius radio using a your a 1/8" stereo male connector. After connecting the power and the 1/8" stereo male connector into the sirius and the AUX IN in the altima. I am seeing an error on my sirius, about not detecting the antenna. But I've already turned the FM transmittor off, on the sirius. Does anyone know a solution from my problem or will I just have to install a antenna, even though the sirius online configuation doesn't require one. • Answer:

You need the antenna. The cord you installed is just to hear without any interface. You need to install the antenna to get the programing. Read you instruction book. That web site you have just gives you the option of running the transmitter( sends radio waves from starmate to your factory radio) the other way is the way you have it. Read pages 10-13 in your instruction booklet. it tells you need the antenna.
