How can I make Yahoo mail my default mail server?

I want to make yahoo my default mail server?

  • using internet options-programs doesn't help because yahoo isn't there

    You must understand that Yahoo is not an email program (examples: Windows Mail or Thunderbird). It is an email service. The default email is normally a program. The only way to alter it to be Yahoo is with some type of add on or you can use the latest Firefox. ₪ For Firefox 3 and above Go to tools > options > applications. Scroll down to MAILTO and select Yahoo Mail from the dropdown menu. ₪ For Internet Explorer You must first download Yahoo! Toolbar from http://toolbar.yahoo.com and install it. During installation you will be asked if you want to make yahoo mail your default email. ₪ Other Option Here is a program called GmailDefaultMaker. Even though it is named Gmail it will work on Yahoo, AOL, and Hotmail. I have not tried it.
