How can I make yahoo my default mail server in all internet applications?

Answer:

Click on Tools>>>then click Internet Options. In the dialog box that opens, click the "programs" tab, across the top. Then click the down arrow at the end of the "email" line and choose Yahoo mail. Apply and OK. If Yahoo isn't on the list----you will have to download (or RE-download) Messenger---all of it---and that will put Yahoo on the list. Now, go back (tools-internet options-programs) and you will be able to choose Yahoo. Later you can always remove Messenger, if you don't want it, without affecting the setting.

In order to use Yahoo Mail as the default email application you must install Yahoo Messenger. It then allows the Messenger program to be the interface to Yahoo Mail. You must go to internet options and then select it. ✩
