Origin of the ship S.S.Berengaria?

Are there any programs that tell you the country of origin for e-mails before you open them?

• I post a lot of classified ads. I get really ticked when they send me emails from foreign countries asking me to ship them items. 99% of them are scammers anyway. I have a web counter that detects the country of origin of visitors to my classified ad's page. I have seen that a lot of foreign visitors from Nigeria, a country plagued with internet fraud schemes.

  I'm not sure about this one! There is a programme called read notify which allows you to track your emails so that you can see where it was sent from, if it was read, how long it was opened for and if it was forwarded, but i don't know if it can tell you anything about mail sent to you but check them out. http://www.readnotify.com/ The only other thing i can think of might be to use pidgin multi messenger. This will montor all of your email accounts and pop up a notification on screen each time you receive a new email, and will display short headers. Can't think of anything else.
