Why does my name show up as false whenever I send an email?

Why does my yahoo email show my full name when i send emails?

• when I send email I do not want my name to show, I want to eliminate or at least hide my name

  You can change the FROM name and the REPLY TO address on the "Accounts" page. The FROM name can't be blank but you can change it to anything including the email address itself. Click options ↬ mail/more options ↬ accounts Click "Yahoo Mail" under the "Accounts" heading You can change the "From" name there or click on the link for "Change reply to address". ₪ ʎəɿʞɹɐq ₪
