How do I group my contacts into categories?

How do I forwad an e mail to contacts in a file I created in my address book?

• I moved contacts to a file in my address book that I call "Forwards." When I want to forward something to a group of people within this file, I can't. I click on insert addresses, which brings up all of my contacts. I click on categories, which brings up my "Forwards" file of contacts. I am able to check the contacts, but there is nowhere to go from there. I can't insert the selected addresses into the e mail I want to forward. The only way I have figured out how to forward e mails to a group of people is to check them from my large contact list, one by one. There has be a faster way, right? Is there a way to forward people from a file of contacts created? Thank you for your help with this question.

  If you've already established a category----and named it "forwards"------all you have to do is put that category name (forwards) on the address line, and Yahoo send the mail to everyone who you've entered into that category. You don't check the individual addresses----(otherwise, why have a category ?) When you click insert---and the category names come up----click once on the category name to which you want to send to---in this case "Forwards". It will be entered on the line you designated (TO or CC or BCC)---and they all get it. OR----just type "Forwards" on the address line.
