Is there anyway to recover my Yahoo address book?

I was trying to edit my Yahoo address book and accidentally erased some contacts. Can I recover them?

  • I was moving contacts into one contact list. I then went back to get rid of the list i removed them from and they were then erased all together from both list. How can I recover the ones I accidentally erased from my contact lists?

    hopefully, you have restore on your computer, you may lose some things that have been on there since then, but it will put everything back, good luck

Short answer Not likely, Long answer Not frickin likely, Very long answer, if you can find a way to get yahoo to roll back their DB yes, but unless you have a subpoena or an act of congress, highly higly unlikely that they would take the time to go through their millions of users to roll back some contacts :-(. Sucks , maybe you can write them to add in a rollback feature...I for one would be all for it cause i delete stuff too. KT

Restoring your computer will not help as it doesn't have anything to do with yahoo. You can go to your sent folder and see if you have sent any emails to the contacts you have lost. You can retrieve them that way. Other than that, you're pretty much out of luck.
