How to send pictures via email?

How can I send smaller email size pictures via yahoo service.?

  • When I "attach" my pictures they have too many pixels and it takes a long time to attach them. My son has "hotmail" service which automatically reduces the pictures to a practical size. I am hoping that yahoo has a similar service.

    Better idea for jpeg images. 1) Open the picture with Paint (free program on most PC computers). 2) Open File and then "Save As" file under a new name. This creates a copy of the original and preserves the original file and picture quality. 3) Under menu line "Image", click on Stretch /Skew. 4) For the Stretch option, enter in values between 0 to 100. Be sure to enter the same value for horizontal and vertical. Example: if you enter 50 / 50, the pixel density is reduced 50% for both horizontal and vertical. If you enter 25 / 25, the pixel density if reduced 75% in both directions. 5) Save file. Use this file for email. You will find the image quality if decent and the file size is reduced to a manageable size.

Uhm, i don't know if yahoo has that either, but you can always resize it in MS paint, or there is this GREAT FREE image editor that lets you resize, than after that you can gauge the quality of the picture that also reduces size of the file. It also has ALOT of cool features, did I mention its free? lol ok here the link, hope it helps

Yahoo has been giving me trouble for months, so I switched to Gmail. Trying zipping the pictures first
