Why can't I open my mail attachments?

Cant open mp3 attachments from mail?

  • for some reason, when someone sends me an mp3 song as a email attachment, i download it, but i cant open it in any player. it says" Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file." whats wrong?

  • Answer:

    use either hotmail, or yahoo, or aim mail.... and if doesnt work use a diff format for the song, like if its from limewire and stuff like that it should work.
