How do i email from craigslist?

I use Yahoo for email but if I click on a email link such as on Craigslist I get MS outlook. How do I get yaho?

  • Anytime I click on an email link I want to have yahoo email to come up not Microsoft Outlook. I can't seem to find where to change this. I have already tried internet connections and I do not get Yahoo for email as a chose.

    Your default email program is currently MS OUTLLOK. to get yahoo you must change it from Start->Control Panel->Add or remove programs->Set program acces and defaults.

Are you using Internet Explorer, or Mozilla Firefox (and which version)? In Firefox 3x: - Click TOOLS, then OPTIONS. - In the box that pops up, click on the APPLICATIONS icon. - Next, scroll down to where it says "mailto" in the Content Type (or you can also type "mailto" (without quotes) in the search box. - Click "mailto" and change the action from "Use Microsoft Outlook" to "Use Yahoo! Mail" In searching the internet, I found that it is much more difficult to change settings in Internet Explorer. However, there is an easy workaround : Install yahoo messenger. http://messenger.yahoo.com/download In doing so, it adds yahoo to the list of email programs you can use as default. I provided the link below where I found my information. Note: downloading the yahoo toolbar won't work, only messenger.
