Is there email validation baked in to Rails 3?

I never got my pottermore validation email?!?!?!?

  • its been 11 hours and i still havent gotten a validation email!!!! im freaking out over here!! i checked spam and my inbox, and NOTHING! anybody else in the same situation or know why i haven't gotten one. and yes i know for sure that i should get a validation email because i created another account AFTER the first and i got an email from that account

    Elle, some other people have been having trouble too with Yahoo. People on google and gmail have gotten thier emails but people on Yahoo havent. Check both your in box and spam pages and if its not there I think the best thing you can do is wait, sorry :( you could always try again tomorrow but use a hotmail account hun

I haven't received my confirmation email as well! I also registered using my Yahoo! Mail account, and from what everyone's saying on Twitter, that's what seems to be the problem. It'd be nice to know if this problem's fixable, right? All we've had to go off of is word of mouth from other Yahoo! Mail users. I wonder if Pottermore is aware of the problem, and if there's an alternative way to access our confirmation email, such as providing Pottermore's tech support with a different email provider (NOT Yahoo!, obviously). I don't know about you all, but I'm going to be one cranky Hogwarts student if I have to stay up again all night just to figure out the second Magic Quill clue, having already secured a username and password after figuring out the first one.

I haven't gotten an email either!!! I think its been a little more than 10 hours for me but I am freaking out cause I didn't create a second account!!! did you use a yahoo email? I read that yahoo is having trouble processing the pottermore emails

My yahoo account didn't give me one for about ten hours, but then I checked again and it FINALLY came. Yahoo's lame, but you'll get it eventually, I'm sure :D

I'm still waiting! I registered like 10minutes after the clue was up! 11 hours!! What's the deal??

It will come! There's just a ton of people trying to register at the same time too. If its been over 48 hours, then it hasn't worked.
