Why is Yahoo not working properly. I cannot receive emails from people with hotmail addresses.?
-
People with hotmail addresses are not getting through to me. First their messages are delayed then returned. when will this problem be resolved?
-
Answer:
yes problem has been known for weeks. Reported to Yahoo and Hotmail, both said to be working on it... So far no sign of this. So plz all of you: report till they get so sick and tired that they will start fixing it, or move out of business. There is no other alternative. Provide good service or none - and if none, then stop pretending you do!

I've been having the same problem for 3 weeks now. I've reported and will continue reporting and suggest that everyone else reports it. If not resolved, change email provider as this is an appalling service.

I'm sorry to be such an ignoramus but HOW do I report this error - there is no obvious email address or telephone number (joke, I know, when can you ever get a phone number for this kind of complaint). Please could someone post the email address so we can all complain. Am going to open a hotmail account to email my frustrated hotmail friends! What other accounts should we all go and get?

I think the issue is only Yahoo users receiving Hotmail emails. I do not have problems sending from Yahoo, or receiving to Yahoo via any other email provider. Given it is only hotmail this affects, i suspect they are to blame.

Maybe its not yahoo fault.I was having all sorts of trouble too.I changed from internet explorer to mozila firefox and havent had any trouble since,it seems a lot better.

Good question, I got the same problem. I also think its Yahoo blocking things. All Yahoo sites are slow on my pc (lagging), other non-yahoo sites are fine. Anyway, this is not an answer to your question, sorry, but hopw it gets sorted.

It might be a problem with Hotmail, I'm getting trouble with my Hotmail emails so it might be either of them. I also heard on the programme I have on as I've been typing this, that there has been an internet problem everywhere at the moment, the bloke on the programme was apologising to people who couldn't email the programme because of this problem. So it might be any of the three things really! Probably be sorted soon!

There has been a problem for the last week or so. It is not a browser problem, it is a general problem between the two e-mail servers. The only solution - until yahoo or hotmail get their ar5es in gear - is to have a hotmail address, and use that to send to other hotmail adresses, and use your yahoo address to send to yahoo addresses. If you send to other email addresses, send from both, and find out which one gets to the recipient first

I also had this problem last week and contacted Yahoo. They seemed to have resolved it for me now. Try contacting Yahoo again.
