Best Theme Park on the Gold Coast?

Gold Coast theme park for a pregnant lady?

  • Hi there. i'm taking the family up to the gold caost and wondering if anyone has been to the theme parks there much can give me some ideas. Which one would i get the most out of considering i can't go on any thrill rides? So we need to take into account whcih one has the most other stuff like shows and animals and what not. Any ideas would be appreciated!!

    I went to seaworld when i was very pregnant and had a great time and so did everyone else!! If you go to movie world, wet and wild or dream world you certainly would not have as much fun because 90% of things to do their are for thrill seekers and you certainly are not one at the moment!!! Have fun at sea world!!! Say hi to the dolphins for me!!!!

I would put movie world and sea world as the best to go to for pregnant people... Seaworld is fantastic even though there is alot of walking and you would be beter off getting a two day pass, the shows are fantastic and you can stop and rest, Depending on the age of the kids too there is Cartoon Network beach there as well. I think this would be the better one. There is rides for older kids or hubby Movie world is jam packed with shows and the parade down the main street it still has some thrill rides for the older members of the family but has enough to keep all entertained the Police academy show is fantastic too

i've been to the movie & sea world there. for moview world, i suggest not to coz most of the rides are quite thrilling (for me) but for sea world is fine but i find it slightly boring there but who knows it could be fun for you. however, since u said for 'pregnant lady' to me best is not to walk too much no matter which world u go to and if the pregnancy is still in an early stage, i suggest u dun walk too much as different woman may have weak body and it may harm the baby...so juz relax in whatever u do...if u r tired...juz sit down for awhile..

I think Dreamworld has the most variety. Something for everyone in the family. Have fun !

All the theme parks are great - Dream world, yes has the thrill rides, but there is also a animal park, restaurant, boat ride, movie theater, heaps to do for yourself and let the kids run wild. Sea world - again, you can do anything there. Wet n wild - that's good for pregnancy - laze in the pool or on a tube all day while the kids slide down the water slides. Movie World - well basically alot of walking around. all up I think you would get the most out of Dreamworld, shows you can go too and what I mentioned above. Have fun - I always do when I go.

I would rate Sea World very highly, It's great for kids and adults alike, most rides don't need a parent or guadian to go on them with the kids, great shows through out the day. And it's close to Surfers Paradice, Southport, Labrador and you can get there via the local bus service.
