Are you with Sky TV or Chorus NTL? Who do you think offers a better service in Ireland?

No. We're with the S&M crowd.

That's wireless cable. It's usually used in rural areas with low populations where it is not viable to install underground cable. They will probably stick an antenna on your roof. I am with Chorus. The only drawback is their routers are rubbish, you might want to invest in a decent one instead of the one they supply. Phones are not great either and of course if you lose your interntet connection you also lose phone connection. I pay like 55 euro a month for tv, phone and internet which is not bad though.

I'm out in the sticks in Co. Cork and we have Sky I have never heard of that MMDS service? Sky costs 30 odd Euro a month I think? We have the movie channels occasionally to keep the kids occupied during the holidays and then cancel it again after they go back to school. I rarely watch TV to be honest, mainly BBC and Channel 4 sometimes and Nat Geo Wild and sometimes Horse & Country but the kids like the American sh*t so we'll keep it for now. I'm with Vodafone@home too same package as you but we only get 1MB broadband, its crap my son can't play his Xbox live at the same time as I'm online as the connection is too weak so we end up having to take turns lol.

We've always had Sky and its always been great. Its costs about €90 a month though with all the movie and sports packages thingys. My friend has Chorus though and finds it good, has all the major channels. I'm not sure about the MMDS thing though, I'll ask tomorrow and get back to you :D

Trust me! Do not get rid of sky tv for chorus tv, Sky is by far better, but chorus internet is brilliant. This might be able to help you.
