I sound stupid asking this question, but I mean what are names of poisonous mushrooms. It would've been stupid for me to actually ask if there was mushrooms that are poisonous.

I have a old tree at home, and it atarted frowign mushrooms (yellowy and a little brown) and i have no idea where and how it got there....are they Wild mushrooms poisonous?

It just seems strange to me that some mushrooms are perfectly fine to eat, even in large quantities, and others are deadly poison even in small quantities.  Even mushrooms that look very similar can vary in their toxicity.

My mom found some mushrooms that release some orange powder and she told me to find out if its poisonous or not. I couldn't find anything on google so i was hoping i could find out here.

Mushrooms grow everywhere, and they are expensive in the store. Those that grow wild can't all be poisonous. Thanks!
