Where to sell broken electronics?

I bought a zune mp3 player and the battery was crap and only lasted an hour for audio. I took it back and exchanged it for a ipod. The Ipod worked great for a month and then the battery died. Am I just unlucky or does wall mart sell sub par electronics...
