What's mono Bluetooth?

I use my usb Bluetooth adapter for my keyboard, well I turned on my computer and I can't type....both the keyboard and usb adapter work fine...my keyboard is well charged and the screen on the keyboard says what it always had said(Logitech MX 5000)....

i wanna know because i want to know if bluetooth is fast than infrared which travels at 300000000 m/s. Please somone tell me the speed of bluetooth
