How to edit contacts information?

I can't find anywhere how to edit the names in some of my contacts. This new Yahoo Mail is so user unfriendly... can we have the old one back!

My friend gave me her number for her phone where she can receive messages on it from Yahoo Messenger. I already have a number there but this one is her new one. How do I edit that? I looked and I'm confused.

As of a few days ago (about 9-1-09) I am unable to open an individual contact in the address book and add information, like a phone number.

All my contacts in Messenger all have their Yahoo ID displayed. I have the preferences set to display by their nickname. I notice, when I view the contact details I have, that none of them have their nicknames anymore (I had to delete and reinstall an...

i can get into the contact's information page but then it won't let me change their email

Each time I click on"save", the information entered disappears and reverts back to the incorrect data. I am also seeing phone numbers change, etc. This has affected my ability to keep valid data synchronized on my iPhone and iPad.
