How do you get an uploaded picture as your avatar?

When I click on edit my profile, it has 3 boxes, 'no picture', 'no yahoo 360 picture' and 'use my yahoo avatar'. I have uploaded a picture to my yahoo 360 account so I don't understand why I get the second option....
