How do you change the font size for your email permanatly?

When writing yahoo email message, how to change the Font size and how to chnage the color of the font such as bllack to blue . I have wndows 7

I have a new laptop. I have no problem going into the character map to change the font, but I can't figure out how to change the size. I can change the font size in Word, but on Yahoo mail I can't seem to do it.

Yahoo says go to OPTIONS - then General Preferences - then Composing Emails and locate button with A's on it. I can't find this button. Is there another way to change email font size? or can someone guide me through this? Thanks for any help!
