I am looking to buy a pair of roller skates (not in-line skates) from ebay. I am a size 8.5 and I was wondering if anyone knows if they run true to size. I was thinking about getting a size 9, to accomidate for the thick socks that I will be wearing.

*obviously this is my first time buying roller skates. i'm probably one of the few people out there who doesn't know how to skate ,and i really wanna' learn : )
