If i post a letter on Friday 2nd how long will it take the recipient to receive the letter?
-
the person receiving the letter lives in a different town about half and hour away from me

Answer:
If it was posted first class, it will usually arrive the next day, so it should be there on Saturday. If it was posted second class, they will probably get it on Monday - although it should only take two days, there is no post on Sundays, so it will be put off until Monday :)

Depends on the postage time. If a letter is sent first class before 11am it usually arrives the next day. After 11am it tends to take 2 days. As you sent it Friday, if you sent it after 11am, it wont arrive until Monday as there is no post on Sundays.
