Do I need German Transit B visa?

UK transit visa without visa to travel to France! Cant find info! Need HELP!?

  • I am going to France this summer so I purchased a plane ticket to Amsterdam thru London. And now I am thinking to get off in London and take a train to france instead of flying. I have Russian passport and the US green card and I have had UK transit visa without visa before twice but i was travelling by plane. So now I am not sure they will let me enter the UK to go to France by train, and i dont have time to apply for a regular transit visa! Is the transit visa without visa only for travel by planes and ships? Thank you in advance.

    Hi Kitten, As per y knowledge u have to obtain transit visa, find the below details. VISA TRANSIT UNITED KINGDOM (GREAT BRITAIN) (GB) ...... NORMAL PASSPORTS ONLY ...... TWOV (TRANSIT WITHOUT VISA): VISA REQUIRED, EXCEPT FOR PASSENGERS WHO MAY BE GRANTED PERMISSION BY THE IMMIGRATION AUTHORITIES TO ENTER THE UNITED KINGDOM, FOR A STAY NOT EXCEEDING 24 HOURS. THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS MUST BE COMPLIED WITH: - PASSENGERS HOLD CONFIRMED RESERVATIONS FOR AN ONWARD FLIGHT WITHIN 24 HOURS; AND - CONTINUE TO A THIRD COUNTRY; AND - HAVE NO PURPOSE IN ENTERING THE UNITED KINGDOM OTHER THAN TO PASS THROUGH IN TRANSIT; AND - HOLD ALL DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR THE NEXT DESTINATION.
