How much is the tube from victoria to north Greenwich?

From Victoria to Greenwich at Boxing Day, how do we get there?

  • We land at Gatwick at about 2 or 3 p.m. We already know that we can take the Gatwick Express to Victoria. But from there we can't find anything how to get from there, Victoria to Greenwich. Anybody? Thanks in advance

  • Answer:

There are two possible ways, 1) as soon as you get to Victoria station, you need to take the Underground train. Take the District Line (the dark green colour) heading east towards Upminster, then get of t cannon street. After take a south east train to greenwich! 2) as soon as you get to Victoria Station take a train towards London Bridge (This is not the underground train) then you simply get another train from London Bridge to Greenwich. I would choose the 2) option because carry luggage to the underground is hard and tiring... However another important message is the trains may not run on the 26th because its a bank holiday. If so grab a taxi. Good Luck

You can also get 136 bus to Lewisham and from there a 53 to Greenwich. Or you can get a tube from Victoria to Monument, a short walk to Bank Dockland Light Railway, then the DLR to Greenwich. You might find this website useful. http://www.tfl.gov.uk/
