How much would a weekend in London cost?

I am planning a surprise weekend get away for my brother and I. I am traveling from the U.S. to London. I already have a flat rented and air travel covered. I am just wondering what London has to offer and it's prices...like sight seeing, good restaurants, night clubs and shopping. If you could, Please link me to some good cites along with prices.

London has some amazing sights and history. There are plenty of famous places to eat like the Ritz Hotel and the World's first Hardrock Cafe. For night life you should try the Soho area in the West End and there are too many sights to mention but I'll list some; Buckingham Palace, London Eye, Tower of London. Madame Tussuades is a waste of time and so is the London dungeon but walking around London you will find it has a great atmosphere in general.By the way London is the most expensive city in Europe, everything is overpriced.
