Has anyone been to the London college of Fashion?

Epsom College for Fashion, or a University closer to London central?

  • Hey! I'm currently researching universities to go to for September 2012, I have been looking at some London Universities and teh two that really grabbed me were Ravensbourne, and Epsom. Epsom's BA for Fashion Promotion and Imagery sounded great, but the only problem I have is with its location as I'd enjoy London if it were situated closer.. Just wondered if there was anyone on here that goes to other colleges for a similar course/area that can give me some guidance to know if its teh right choice or not? or if anyone is going to Epsom what its like to study there... hope anyone can help!!! highly appreciated!! xxx

  • Answer:

Hi, im from Epsom! I didnt study at Epsom College or anything BUT it does have an excellent reputation. As you touch on Epsom isnt in central London, so although you would be close, if you went to Epsom College of Fashion you wouldnt exactly be living the London life all the time, HOWEVER, Epsom is incredibly close. Only 30 minutes by train and I know a few people who are Laines Drama School and they are always going out in London from Epsom. Epsom is really close to Wimbledon and Kingston which provide fantastic shopping and some good bars. It has a very low crime rate and was even voted best place to live by Kirsty and Phil! haha! As well as Epsom there are two further train stations nearby, Ewell West and Stoneleigh and furthermore, you can get a bus from Epsom to Morden and in Morden you can pick up the Northern Line tube station, so again easy access to central!

You want fashion? You want London? Well the obvious answer would be The London College of Fashion, it's part of University of the Arts London and is located near Oxford Circus, about as central as you can get. It's very well regarded and has a great social scene too. I went to a different college from the same University which included the likes of Central St. Martins and Chelsea College of Art.
