Which London airport, train/bus station is closest to the O2 Arena?
-
I'm supposed to be heading to the O2 Arena in September, but I don't know which of the said transportation is closest to it. I just want to know which is closest and if possible the distance to it.

Answer:
By air London City Airport is just 15 minutes from The O2 offering easy access from all over the UK and Europe (35 destinations). Heathrow, Gatwick and Stanstead are only 50 minutes by train. By Tube - Day & night The Jubilee Line to North Greenwich for The O2 (Zone 2). Canary Wharf in 5 minutes London Bridge or Stratford in 10 minutes Waterloo in 15 minutes Bond Street in 20 minutes The Jubilee line is the only Underground route that connects with all others - so not only can London residents reach us with no hassle, National Rail passengers from all over the UK can too. The walk from North Greenwich underground station to The O2 is approximately 200m. By bus North Greenwich for The O2 is a major travel interchange with 7 bus routes and a frequency of up to almost a bus a minute. For full options: http://www.theo2.co.uk/location/getting-there.html

Nth. Greenwich, on the Jubilee underground, is literally right beside the O2. You can use the TFL journey planner, below for more info. London City Airport is close, but airfares there tend to be expensive, compared to other London airports.

North Grenwich tube station. It takes you right next to the o2.

London city airport, is the closest, and they have a excellent and comprehesive European flight schedule, they are not merely internal as other posters have suggested, although for long haul, stanstead airport in Essex would be a more conveniently located choice. PS: London city airport primarily targets the business user, so prices can be quite expensive for the normal tourist's typical budget, but you can get some good deals with a little perseverance.

North Greenwich Train Station. You can get there via underground on the Jubilee Line.

London City Airport is close by if you're flying in although, I think it only handles domestic/ internal flights.
