Summarised Answer: 1) Wembley is outside Central London Congestion Charging area. So the CC doesn't apply. 2) Parking is "prohibited" around the Wembley area for major events. Because you'll be clamped and towed away, removal charge (£125ish). 3) The North Circular Road A406 (after the M1 at Staples Corner) will be congested. You're not the only England fan going to the game. Two suggestions: * Take the FCC train into (changing at St. Albans) Hendon and then 83 bus to Wembley. * Take the train to St. Pancras International, walk to Euston and take the Overground to Wembley Central. The train there is only 3 coaches, no tube so it will be packed. I think the first is better.

There are other ways to get there so don't let the strikes put you off.. The following site will provide you wil alternative options: www.tfl.gov.uk You can either walk or get a bus (205 from Stop: R towards Eastbourne Terrace) to Marylebone Rail Station. From there get a train to Wembley staduim (Take the Chiltern Railways towards High Wycombe Rail Station or Chiltern Railways towards Gerrards Cross Rail Station or Chiltern Railways towards Aylesbury Rail Station)

Easiest route is this; Leave Kings Cross station and walk south-east down Pentonville Road / Euston Road. After 400 meters, walk into Euston station. Buy an Overground ticket and take the London Overground to Wembley Central station. Leave the station and walk to Wembley Stadium. Pricewise your looking at either £4 cash fare, or £2.20 Oyster PAYG.

Get yourself onto www.tfl.gov.uk and use the journey planner. I use it all the time anyway because it allows for tube disruptions. You can even put in the time you need to set off etc and it'll tell you what time bus to get. Good luck getting there.

Jen

Walk to Euston Station (about 5 minutes walk) and catch a London Overground train to Wembley Central, or get off the FCC train on the way into London at Hendon and catch an 83 bus from opposite Hendon Station to Wembley Stadium

David S

Get a west bound bus to Euston then get a 18 bendy bus to Wembley triangle, buy a one day bus pass £3.80 before getting on a bus.

why not see if you can get a National Express coach as they go direct to Wembley http://www.nationalexpress.com/wembleyfootball.aspx
