What is Ladbroke Grove like?

How do I get to Ladbroke Grove from Waterloo on sundays?(Not including the Hammersmith&City line)?

• Hey :) Last sunday, I've had a little trouble getting to Ladbroke Grove from Waterloo. In the Waterloo underground station, one of the assistant indicated that in order to get there, I have to take the Jubilee line to Baker street, then take Hammersmith&City line and arrive in Ladbroke Grove. At this point, I was pretty aware of the fact that Hammersmith&City line was closed between certain lines, but the man insisted that it wasn't. So I trusted him and arrived in Baker street and found out that the Hammersmith&City line was indeed NOT in service. So in hurry, I had to spend 25 pounds on my taxi fee (I had to hurry to Euston station later on,) And I also spent less time than I expected to spend in Ladbroke grove, as it was reduced to only half-an-hour. I arrived in Euston station 15 minutes before my train departed. So as pathetic as it sounds, I'm planning to write a letter in regarding this incident, and I'm also planning to write every little detail in it. Please could anyone tell me: 1)How long it takes to go to Ladbroke Grove from Waterloo on sundays(Avoiding Hammersmith&City line) 2) HOW to get to Ladbroke grove from waterloo on sundays (Again, avoiding Hammersmith&City line). 3)How much is it for a one day travel ticket? What happened was, I used the London tube app on my iphone to find out, but I was asking for a quicker alternative to Ladbroke Grove. But I completely forgot what my phone told me, and I need to include this fact(All I remember is that it took between 30-40 mins to get there, including one change). Thank you so much.
