Has anyone been on the polar express train ride in Palestine, TX?

Ticket inpsectors on National Express London Liverpool Street to Chelmsford, Colchester...?

Does anyone know if there are usually ticket inspectors on National Express trains from London Liverpool Street to Chelmsford, Colchester and beyond at nights after 11pm? I ask because on the occasions that I have to take a late night train home, I always seem to hear several drunk people on the train bragging with their friends that they are on the 'free ride train' when people like me have to pay £4000 a year for a season ticket. I emailed National Express but no reply as of yet. Thanks

There's never ticket inspectors on those trains. I've only ever seen one, in 5 years of using various National Express trains!

National Express have lost this franchise. It will be taken over by Netherlands Railways in March 2012. Expect revenue protection to become far tighter then with on the spot fines and prosecutions for ticketless travellers
